I am the Bread of Life, eat me and you will have eternal life, love your enemies, always forgive others, “I didn’t come to bring peace but sword”, and many other things that Jesus said that are too difficult to accept, too hard to understand and there are usually in contrary to what we used to. No, it’s not easy to accept Jesus teaching and that’s why many of His disciples said: “This saying is hard; who can accept it? As a result of this, many of his disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied him.” This makes me thinking about our brothers and sisters today- so many of our people leave the church because the Church teaching and Jesus teaching are too difficult not only to practice but even to understand. “Jesus then said to the Twelve, do you also want to leave? Simon Peter answered him, Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” We have a choice- we can either be with Jesus or leave Him, but ONLY He has the words of eternal life.
