What would you do with your life if you knew that you had exactly 25 years, 3 months and let’s say 5 days before the coming of the Messiah? In other words, what would you do if you knew exactly when your day of judgment would take place? I think most of us would just waste that time in between by not really pay attention to conversion, and to use only the last few moments before the judgment to fix things, to convert, perhaps to go to confession and say we’re sorry to those whom we have hurt. Guess what, God doesn’t desire only these last minutes of our life to be good and holy, but He wants us to be holy throughout the whole of our lives. That’s why Jesus is telling us today that He will never reveal to us the exact time nor the hour when the Son of Man will come again. "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." So, don’t listen to those who would try to predict that day; most of the time it will not happen on that day.
