Probably the hardest thing to understand and accept is the death of a little child. It is heartbreaking because this is not the way that it is supposed to be. However, I always think that when a child dies, even though it is truly heartbreaking for us, that child goes straight to heaven. Just think about it this way- all of us, adults, go through this life being tempted, we sin at times, we make bad choices, constantly worrying what will happen after we die -- if God will forgive us our sins and mistakes. But a little child has no sins, didn’t make any choices; it is simple, pure, and holy. It is like an angel that goes straight to heaven. For us it is a tragedy to lose a child, but not for God, because God saved each little child from the stain of sin and from difficulties of this life that we have to go through.
