Have you seen the commercials from those services that will work on your genealogical tree and find out where your ancestors came from? They can also find out what they were doing and some other information. Some of us would like to know more about our ancestors and where they came from. Today, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are given a long reading of the genealogy of Christ. We all had some people in our roots that we may not be proud of, and today it surprises me that even Jesus had some pretty bad ancestors. Yet God chose that family to have His Son born into. When you do your genealogy check, you may find out that some of your ancestors were terrible people, but that should not stop you from becoming a good and holy person. Even Jesus had some bad ancestors.
