Fourteen Sunday in Ordinary time ‘c’

Some of us like to keep our faith and our religion only to ourselves. However, since our baptism, we are called to share the Good News with others. We can’t just lock our religion in the walls of the church, but literally, we need to go and share our faith with others. This was the mission of Jesus’ apostles, and this is the same mission we are called to carry on today. But it will not be easy. So, Jesus reminds us: “Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves.” What does this mean exactly? It means that we are called to be gentle and peaceful like lambs even if we will face rejection, hardship, and evil. Jesus knows that only by being loving, carrying, gentle, peaceful, and forgiving, we will attract others to our religion and to Jesus Christ.
