In the Gospel for today we read about Jesus making two blind men able to see again. I can’t even imagine what a joy it was for those two men, not being able to see, maybe even from birth, but now having full and clear vision. Jesus is asking them not to tell anyone, but how can you not share such a tremendous joy with others? If something joyful happens in our lives, we definitely want to share the news with others, especially with our family and friends. A new baby was born, a cancer was healed, a son got accepted into a new school, or a daughter got the job she dreamed about. Maybe those two men from the gospel didn’t listen and didn’t follow Jesus’ instructions, but I am sure that He understood. He understood that when there is so much joy and happiness, people are excited to share it with others.
