Do you have any savings in your bank account? I know, it is not my business, but we all like to save some money for the future because we don’t know what the future will bring. That’s why many of us try to save some money. There is nothing wrong with saving. In fact, it is smart to save, but today we are reminded that we need to set aside savings not only for this world, but far more, for the world beyond. Jesus invites us today to make savings in heaven, savings that will last forever. It is because we may lose all of our savings from this world, but whatever is saved in Heaven- it will remain there always. What are those savings that will last forever? Those are our good deeds and our love for God and our neighbor.
