We all know very well that there is no way that we will be able to satisfy everybody, not in our own homes, not in our work places, not in our church, not even in our prayer groups. We are all different and do or don’t like certain things. Nothing new, right? And the same in our churches, there are different styles of preaching, different music types and even different liturgies, and we may like one over the other. But we need to remember that no matter what we experience during the liturgy, Christ is truly present in the Eucharis and that’s why we come to Him. We may not like a certain priest, we may not like the church interior design, or we may not like the music, but this is not why we come to church and this should never stop us from coming and receiving the Eucharist. “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they said, ‘He is possessed by a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they said, ‘Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’
