Friday of the 21 week in ordinary time ‘b’
Have you ever made a mistake? Have you done something wrong at your place of work, maybe at school, or maybe even within your family? Yes, we all have made mistakes, but at the same time we want to fix them, we want to apologize, and do anything to make reparation for our wrong doings especially when this depends on keeping our job or having good relationship with others. But today, Jesus reminds us that we also need to be smart and prudent when it comes to our relationships with God and our salvation. Because we all make mistakes in life, we all sin and that’s why we need to do anything in order to apologize for and fix our mistakes. We care about our job positions, and relationship with others, but we should care even more about our salvation by making sure that everything is OK between you and God.
