Today, the message is so clear- stop correcting others, stop telling them how to live, how to pray, how to behave, especially if you yourself don’t pray, or you misbehave or live an immoral life. I spoke to a parent once who was asking what I would tell his 22 years old son who stopped going to church. So, I asked the parent -- but do you go to church? Well, not really, Father. I am so busy. I used to, but now I can’t find the time. You see -- we can’t expect others to live the way we want them to live if we ourselves don’t give an example of that. We can’t force our children to attend mass if that is unimportant to us. Simple. “Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into a pit?”
