“Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven.” God, give me a sign, some kind of sign, any sign! I want to make sure that you are real, that my beliefs are trustworthy. We tend to test God at times like this. We would rather have a sign from heaven instead of blindly believe that He truly exists and can perform miracles in our lives. But He does give us signs, each day, but we might be too busy to even recognize them in our ordinary lives. He blesses us with our family, friends, people we meet, people we love; He blesses us with the beauty of this world, He blesses us with our lives and with so many other things that we tend to take for granted, or are too pessimistic to notice and focus only on the evil instead of focusing on the presence of God among us.
