Friday of the 3 week in ordinary time ‘c’

Mk 4:26-34

It is relieving to hear what Jesus is telling us today. Jesus simply tells us that no matter what you think or do, the Kingdom of God will be growing. We need to remember this, especially when we are saddened by the terrible events that are happening around us. We have to remember this statement of Jesus, when we see that people stop believing in God, stop going to church, and live immoral lives. We need to hear these words of Jesus when we lose hope, and our faith is being shaken. No matter how bad this world and life seem to be, the Kingdom of God is still growing and will always grow. “Of its own accord the land yields fruit” and then- “and becomes the largest of plants.” You and I don’t need to worry; let us leave it to God.
