Love is such a powerful feeling. If you truly love someone, you are able to make any and all the sacrifices of life to make that person happy. You want to be with that person as much as possible and to share with that person all your troubles and joy. You want that person to understand you and love you in return. I am sure you all know that feeling, whether it is for a boy or girl, husband or wife, mother and son, or father and daughter, or between two friends. Love is very powerful. One of the scribes asked Jesus in the Gospel for today: which commandment is the greatest? Is it the first one, the most important? And Jesus answer was very simple in his answer. He basically said, just love God and then love your neighbor. Do that and everything will be in order. Think about that, if we could only have that same feeling of love towards our God and our neighbor, we would never try to hurt their feelings, to abandon them, or to make them sad. This world would become a perfect place if everyone just followed these two commandments.
