“One will be taken, the other will be left.” Is Jesus talking today about the day of judgment? That’s how I understand today’s Gospel reading. I believe that the ‘day of Judgment’ will come, and maybe that will happen right after l leave this world, when I die. Will I be taken, accepted, welcomed by God or will I be left? I believe in a Loving, Merciful, Forgiving God, and so I believe that He will forgive us our mistakes and even our big sins. But He may not forgive us our ignorance, our pride, and our disbelief. I hope we all will be taken, and no one left; but this is not what Jesus seem to say. We hope and pray that “all” will be taken to the Father in heaven, but we know that some will not.
