God is not silent. He speaks to us in so many ways but especially through the Gospel and through His Son, Jesus Christ. We listen to these same Gospel readings so many times, but do these words change our lives? The words of Christ are like a recipe for a better life and ultimately for the final and very delicious outcome. There are so many other voices that we hear, but only the words of Christ bring us hope, bring us joy, bring us solutions to so many problems. They show us a way that we should choose. Jesus speaks about himself: “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Today He reminds us that even the most beautiful words of this world will pass away, like everything else of this world; but His words will never pass away. Let us be more attentive to Jesus’ words.
