I hear quite often that we live in difficult times. I also hear that our Church is getting weaker and smaller. It’s true some of our churches need to be closed, and we have less and less vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and also less people in the pews. Will our Church survive, we may wonder? Jesus tells us what to do to have our Church last forever and bear fruit: he tells us again -- love one another. And then He says: “It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain.” Today is not the time for complaining, for criticizing our Church leaders, priests or pastors. Today is a time for each one of us to bear fruit that will remain, and it will remain forever if we will be able to love one another.
