There is much that Jesus can tell you, but do you want to listen? There are times when we talk too much. One example is when we pray. Instead of trying to listen to Jesus speak, we do all the talking. Jesus wants to listen to us too, but He also has so much to teach and to tell us. Often, we tend to forget about that. It happens at times in our relationships with another person. We have so much to say or to tell that person, that we can forget to listen to what the other person has to say. And then we end up disappointed that she or he doesn’t respond to us. Why? Because we don’t give him or her any chance. So, if you think that God doesn’t listen to you and doesn’t answer your prayers, stop talking so much and try to listen more. “The great crowd heard this with delight.”
