“Jesus moved about within Galilee; he did not wish to travel in Judea, because the Jews were trying to kill him. But the Jewish feast of Tabernacles was near.” Jesus wants to come to each one of us, but is He always welcomed by us? Sometimes through our sinful actions we too push Him away and forget that He wants to come and stay with us. When we are asked if we love Jesus and if we believe, we will probably say, yes, I love Jesus, I want Him to be with me. However, Jesus doesn’t want only our beautiful declaration; He wants to see the proof. Yes, we all sin, and we do make bad choices in life. But let us make sure that those sins do not prevent Jesus from coming to us and healing us. We must put our pride aside and humbly admit that we need the Lord’s presence and His healing touch.
