Love of Jesus requires action. As we heard many times before, love is not only a nice declaration, rather it should motivate us to express that love to others. When Jesus asked Simon Peter three times -- Do you love me? and then hearing Peter’s reassuring answers – Yes, I love you, you know that I do -- Jesus didn’t say: that’s good, that’s what I wanted to hear. I love you too, thank you, Peter – no, nothing like that. Instead, he said: feed my lambs, tend my sheep. If you love me, Peter, then you need to prove it and take care of my sheep. How many times do you say to Jesus that you love Him? Today we all are reminded that love of our Lord is not only a declaration, but it should be transformed into action, a good action.
