Friday of the Twenty Seventh Week in Ordinary Time ‘a’

No matter how great the sacrifices for others you make in life, no matter how much time and resources you will offer to help those in need, there still will be others who question your intentions. And they would say that you are doing it because you want to be recognized, or you want to receive something in exchange. Yet most times you would perform those good deeds for others only because you love and want to help and to share that love, but not expecting anything in return. But still -- there will be some who will criticize you and accuse you of wrong intentions and motives. But all that should not stop us from doing good. Even Christ was criticized by those who could not believe that He had the power to heal, to cast out demons, and to bring back to life. “By the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he drives out demons”- they said.
