Sometimes we are angry at things, maybe you even bring this to confession -- Father, I was very angry. But there are times when we need to be angry, especially if we are witnessing people doing morally wrong things to others. Jesus was angry at the people who made a marketplace out of the holy temple. I am angry too sometimes when I see people coming into our churches not properly dressed, or spending time on their smartphones during mass, or simply misbehaving and disturbing others. No, we don’t sell doves, oxen or sheep here, but sometimes people forget that the church is a holy place, not only because Jesus is there but because we make it holy too. Do I make my temple holy, do I respect and support my place of worship? And in the same manner knowing that my body is a holy temple, do I treat it with care and respect?
