Monday of the Third Week of Easter

Writer's picture: Fr. KrisFr. Kris

Today, again, we should ask ourselves: what do we ask Jesus for when we pray? Because we all know that most times, we ask for things that are related to this earthly life. And there is nothing wrong with that. We are part of this world, and we need a good job, financial stability, good relationship, health, security, peace, and love. That’s why most times in our prayers we ask for those things. But do you remember to ask Jesus for a happy and eternal life after you leave this planet? Do you ask Him for salvation? Today Jesus says: “you are looking for me because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled. Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.” We need to keep praying for that food that endures forever.
