Monday of the Twenty Seventh Week in Ordinary Time ‘c’

Love is not only a declaration, but love should lead us to action. Today once again, we are being reminded about the greatest commandments. We know them very well, first we need to love God with all with all our heart, with all our being, with all our strength, and with all our mind- and second, we need to love our neighbor as ourselves. So, if you think that you are following these two commandments, I want you think now, how do you show your love for God and your neighbor? As I mention before, it is not only about our declarations, hours spent on prayers, thinking that you are a good Christian, you pray, don’t hurt anyone, don’t cheat, don’t still and lead a good life. I think that is not enough. In the parable about that good Samaritan, Jesus clearly shows us, that we sow our love to God and neighbor, when we are ready to act and help. Despite the nationality, age, color of skin if someone needs help, our Christian mission is to act. That’s how we express our love. Do you truly love God and neighbor?
