Monday of the Twenty Sixth Week in Ordinary Time ‘b’

There are many different religions in this world. There are many of us Christians who belong to different churches. And I believe that my Catholic religion is the one and true religion God wants me to believe in. If I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t be Catholic today. Certainly, I would never have become a Catholic priest. However, being a catholic does not mean that only I can preach about Christ and bring Him to others. It also does not mean that only we Catholics are allowed to perform good deeds in His name. No. Instead, we should be happy when others do good to our brothers and sisters in need, despite the religion they believe in. Jesus said: “Do not prevent them, for whoever is not against you is for you."
