Saturday after the Epiphany

When I read the Gospels, I am amazed that Jesus didn’t stop and stay in just one and only one location. It seems He might have been more successful in proclaiming the Good News. But no. Instead, He was always on the move, proclaiming, baptizing, healing, and restoring. He teaches His disciples to do the same, and we are invited to do the same. Too often our Christianity is limited only to our churches or our parishes. It is easy to be Christian where everyone is Christian and has the same belief. I think Jesus challenges us today and invites us to go out to all the places where we work, study, and play. In all these places, we should proclaim the Good News, help others, and tell them about Christ, and especially bring them love and respect. We too need to be on the move all the time.
