Mt 23:1-12

We have many leaders in this world. There are leaders that guide and direct our nations, states, cities. There are leaders in our Church --the pope, cardinals, bishops and pastors; we also have leaders in our workplaces and in our schools. Being a leader is a very important and responsible call. But how can you tell who is a good leader? Jesus has an answer to that: “The greatest among you must be your servant. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” He also said: “do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice.” A good leader is a humble person and the person that always gives a good example to others.
