A few years ago, I decided to go to Poland to visit my family and friends. I try to visit them about every other year, but that time was different. It was different because it was a surprise- nobody knew that I was coming. On the day I arrived, I went to my mom’s house where she lived by herself, knocked on the door and waited. When she opened it, she was shocked for a few seconds. She needed to process this since she didn’t expect me to be there at all. After several moments of joy, my mom, like probably every mom, started to complain that she didn’t clean up the house, she had nothing cooked for me, she hadn’t done any grocery shopping. Why didn’t you tell me, I would have prepared myself? The Son of Man will visit us one day. He will come, but will He find us prepared? Will we have our house in order, ready to welcome Him? “But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
