Saturday of the 7 week of Easter ‘b’

I like the conclusion of today’s Gospel reading that says: “There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.” I wonder what else Jesus did that were not recorded in the gospels, but we can only imagine them. When I think about that, I can clearly think about Jesus being truly human, just like you and I. So, if He was human, He had to experience exactly what you and I experience here -- hunger, thirst, temptations, sickness, loneliness. But at the same time, He had his favorite things to do. He had a favorite food to eat, places to visit. Maybe He loved someone, been with someone. Who knows, we don’t, we can only imagine, because even the whole world wouldn’t contain the books that would be written about Him.
