Do you ever question your faith? I think it happens to most of us at times when we are not sure if there is eternal life, or not sure where our loved ones who died are now, not sure if God really listens to us, if the resurrection is real. Not sure about you, but I do have those doubts at times and yes, I would love Jesus to give me straight answers, give me a proof. But He doesn’t and He won’t. He just wants me to have faith even in the midst of doubt. And sometimes just like in the Gospel reading today, instead of giving a straight answer, he challenges me to think, to pray and to believe. Jesus wants me to believe not to know.
