“Some in the crowd who heard these words of Jesus said, ‘This is truly the Prophet.’ Others said, ‘This is the Christ.’ But others said, ‘The Christ will not come from Galilee, will he?’” This arguing happened over two thousand years ago, while the son of Man was present on this earth. However, there is not much difference today. Even today many of us continue to argue with each other about Jesus -- did He really exist, some people are wondering. Some would say that He came to this earth, but He was not sent from God and He wasn’t God’s Son. Some would still say that He was a great prophet, a very wise man, maybe even a magician. It is hard to keep strong faith in this divided world. It is a world that will always try to deceive us and prove to us that Jesus is not the Son of God. Today let us pray asking God to give us a strong faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. Let us ask Him to give us that faith which would never be deceived by the arguments of this world. We know that Jesus truly is the Son of God.
