Saturday of the Sixth Week of Easter ‘b’

Have you noticed that most of the prayers we have usually conclude with the words like: “we ask this through Christ our Lord” or “we ask this in the name of Jesus”? And at the end, we respond with ‘amen’. And we say that because by doing that we profess our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He will grant us what is best for us. When saying ‘amen’, you are actually saying - Yes, I truly believe that I can do anything with Jesus. Amen - I believe- that through the name of Jesus, God will grant me His love, His forgiveness, His peace, His salvation. “Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.’”
