Have you ever tried to imagine how it will be in heaven? I am sure you have. I think about that quite often. I think about my relatives that died, praying for their salvation, and trying to imagine where they are now. Hoping that they are already in heaven, but what is it like in heaven? We are limited in our imagination, and most of the time we think that heaven will be like what we have experienced here in this life, but without any difficulties. There will be only happiness and joy there. And that is partially true. However, in the gospel reading for today, Jesus tells us that heaven will be much better, far beyond our imaginations. Jesus tells us today that: “the children of this age marry and remarry; but those who are deemed worthy to attain to the coming age and to the resurrection of the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. They can no longer die, for they are like angels.” So, here we have a little glimpse of heaven -- looks like there will no relationship like we have here, we all will be equal, we all will be like angels living in perfect unity, love and peace.
