Today you need to ask yourself what kind of ‘seed’ are you? Or what is happening to the seed of faith that was planted into your heart at the day of your baptism? Are you taking care of your faith, nurturing it with the sacraments, prayers, and wisdom of God. Or has the seed of your faith fallen on the path and was trampled upon, or the birds ate it up? Or maybe it fell on some rocky ground without enough water to help it grow, or it fell among thorns, i.e., those people who convinced you that faith in God doesn’t make sense? How is your faith today? Is it still growing? Did the seed of your faith fall “on good soil, and when it grew, it produced fruit a hundredfold”?
