The Nativity of The Lord (Christmas)

Lk 2:15-20

God could have come to us in so many other different ways. He could have shown Himself just like most expected Him, as a King, the Ruler with all His power and majesty. Instead, he chose to come to us humans in the form of a child. More than that, He came to us as a child, born into a poor emigrant family. Why did He choose such a way? I think it is because He wanted us to love Him as God but also in other people, especially in those who are poor, lonely, abandoned, immigrants, troubled, or addicted. If we are able to find God in another person and love Him in that person, then we truly understand the meaning of Christmas, because we then have found God too. Merry Christmas!
