The beginning of the Gospel for today tell us that Jesus returned to Galilee and the news of Him spread throughout the whole region. How did that happen? No phones, no radio, no TV, no social media. People were talking about Jesus. They had heard about Him and believed that He was an extraordinary man with an extraordinary power to heal, to forgive, and to restore to fullness what was broken. Some already had come to believe that He was the awaited Messiah. Jesus wants us to spread the Good News, he wants us to talk about Him and tell people that He came, and He is here present among us. We are called to spread the news about Jesus’ presence and about His love for each one of us and about His healing power.
