Thursday of the 15 week in ordinary time (St. Bonaventure)

Mt 11:28-30

We are so busy with our lives. There are so many things we need to worry about. Even this past year with the pandemic was so unpredictable and there were so many adjustments we needed to make. Stressful job situations, hard exams to pass at school, or maybe even difficult family situations, like sickness, death, or divorce. This life throws so much at us. So, we need to rest, we need to forget at least for a moment and distance ourselves from everything. For me the best way to forget about all of life’s difficulties and business is to pray. To come to Jesus and talk to Him. Can be in the church but it could be done everywhere. We all need that moment of rest, and today Jesus offers us this invitation: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”
