There are times when I think that I don’t need to give 100% to my religion, to my faith. Yes, I practice, I try to live well, but at the same time I become lazy and get drawn into earthly temptation, yet still trusting that God will forgive me. Yes, He will. He is merciful and He loves me, but at the same time He wants me and you to give 100% to our faith. We do make mistakes and make wrong choices in life, it happens. But we shouldn’t deliberately make bad choices, hoping that God will forgive us and take advantage of His love and mercy. Today we read in the Gospel: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.” We need to ask for an increase of our faith and always obey the Son.
