Interesting story in the Gospel for today. Jesus heals a blind man. We read about miracles like that many times in the Gospel. But what gets my attention is the short conversation of the blind man with Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you? The blind man replied to him, “Master, I want to see.” Jesus knows everything, and so for me it would be kind of obvious that this poor man can’t see and would like to have his sight again. So, why is Jesus asking: what do you want? Maybe Jesus was expecting him to ask for something else? Nobody knows, but the man after being healed followed Jesus. We need to ask Jesus to give us deeper faith, to help us see better, and to give us courage to follow Him too.
