When you have seen some of my photos here, you have noticed that some are taken from high above. I like to fly a drone and explore the world from above. Everything looks different from there. You get a totally different perspective; you can see more and farther since your view is not blocked by any trees or buildings. You may have experienced that flying in a plane too. Looking at the world from above, you can see much more than looking from the ground. I think in that sense we need to think of the Lord’s words from today’s gospel when He said: “The one who comes from above is above all. The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things. But the one who comes from heaven is above all.” We are limited to the world that we know and that we can touch, experience, smell, taste -- we are familiar with it. However, when we speak about heavenly things, we can only rely on our faith. This is why Jesus tells us -- trust me, I came from above; I saw much more than you can see now, I know what is there in front of you. You have not seen it yet, but have trust in me -- I came from above and I am telling you, Heaven is beautiful.
