Thursday of the Seventeenth Week in Ordinary Time ‘c’

It is simply impossible to avoid having any contact with bad people, sinful people, those who do evil. We all must live together. Look at this world, look at all the people -- we all exist together: the good and the bad, sinners and saints, those who protect life and those who want to destroy it, the poor and the rich, the powerful and vulnerable, those highly educated and those who don’t have very much knowledge. We all are mingled together. However, one day, God will grab us all, and then He will choose who has value for Him and who doesn’t. Just like that “net thrown into the sea, which collects fish of every kind. When it is full, they haul it ashore and sit down to put what is good into buckets. What is bad they throw away.” I think that we all know what Jesus means through this parable -- God doesn’t care about our nationality, color of skin, educational skills, age, nor if we are healthy or sick. God only cares if we fit into His Kingdom, by being good disciples of Jesus. “What is bad they throw away.”
