Thursday of the Third Week in Ordinary Time ‘a’

We can hide things from others, but nothing can be hidden from God. There are people that appear to be very nice and honest people, but you don’t know their evil thoughts, the terrible things they have done in the past, or about the grudges and hate that is deep in their hearts. So, to these kinds of people Jesus addresses a warning today: “For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light.” And then later He said: “The measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.” So, God knows each and every person and knows exactly what’s in our hearts, and one day we all be judged accordingly. We all need to pray to not be like that, but always honest with God, with ourselves, and with others.
