Moses received 10 commandments, the rules that we should follow in life. Many of us memorized them, but we don’t always follow them. Today’s Gospel says that “the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Yes, indeed, Christ brought us grace and truth and mercy. God gave us the commandments not to limit or control us, but to make our lives better. And there are situations in life where it is very difficult not to fall into temptations and break God’s law, and God knows that. That’s why we Have Jesus, who brought us forgiveness. There is no sin that can’t be forgiven. The grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Today I am thankful for God’s mercy given to me through His Son.
