Tuesday of the 14 week in ordinary time ‘b’

Mt 9:32-38

Jesus was always doing so much good for others. He never harmed anyone, never. So why did He face so much opposition, anger, and accusation? Who knows? I think people are just jealous at times. But even though so many accused him of being possessed, of blaspheming, and of doing things against the will of God, He never stopped. What is interesting in the Gospel reading is that even though Jesus is again being criticized, He simply ignores those who speak against Him and continues His good work. That tells me that many times we too will be criticized by others, but if we are sure of our good deeds and good works that we are doing, we don’t need to apologize to those who are angry, jealous or critical. We just need to continue spreading the good around us.
