I am sure you have heard many times that each gift comes from God, but we tend to forget about that. We forget about it because our technology today is so advanced that we tend to think that we humans can do most things: we have advanced medicine, fast modern transportation, Wi-Fi Internet, smartphones, tablets, smart accessories in our homes. Yes, we ourselves did build these things It took some time to come to such advanced technology, and people worked for this very hard. But we tend to forget that God made us, made the earth, gave us different talents, feeds us with the fruits of the earth. Yes, we people can be very smart and very well educated, but still without God we wouldn’t be able to do much. We need God. Jesus corrects His listeners in the Gospel today and reminds them and us that: “it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.”
