What is your biggest worry in life? We all worry about many things, about our children, about health, about money, about our relationships, and about our jobs. Basically, we are mostly concerned about the things of this life. But today, Jesus reminds us that most of all we should be concerned about our salvation. Because sometimes we become like those disciples from today’s gospel reading -- we keep worrying about little insignificant things, but we forget to worry about living a good life, repenting from sins, and asking God to forgive us all of our earthly mistakes. It is natural that we are concerned, or even worry, about things of this earthly life; but we can’t forget that our lives don’t end up here. That’s why we must be concerned about our own salvation.
