Jesus taught us to call God - Abba, Father. So, if God is our Father, and we call Him that when we recite the Lord’s Prayer, then this makes all of us brothers and sisters. This makes us equal. And God, as our wonderful Father, loves us equally. God does not look at our social status, He does not care if you are poor or reach, if you are very powerful or very insignificant in this world. And if God treats us in this way, we should treat our brothers and sister in the same way, as equal to us and as important as everybody else including ourselves. That’s why Jesus said: “do not be called 'Rabbi.' You have but one teacher, and you are all brothers. Call no one on earth your father; you have but one Father in heaven. Do not be called 'Master'; you have but one master, the Christ.” Let us pray today, asking God to help us to see and love other persons as He does - without any reservation and equally.
