The readings for today give me proof that Jesus loves me, prays for me, and He is always with me. Even if He seems to me to be distant at times or not answering my prayers, I know that He is always there for me, just like He prayed for His disciples before His Ascension to Heaven: “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours, and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them. And now I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you.” Perhaps you too have those moments of doubts, especially when everything in your life seems to go wrong. Then try to remember that Jesus is always there remembering you before His Father in Heaven. We have a God who cares about us, loves us, and always prays for His own.
