Tuesday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time ‘a’

How might others, especially those who don’t know or don’t believe in our God, get to know Him and learn more about Him? Most of us have experienced a merciful loving God. We learn about His Son, who came to this earth to save us, to show us how much God cares for us and that He would never abandon us. How can we share this with others? Well, we could tell them about Him and share our faith, invite others to join us, but would that convince them to believe in our God? Maybe. However, there is something more that we can do to bring more people to Christ. Jesus tells us today “your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.” We can’t just limit our faith to the sacraments, prayers, and learning the scriptures. We are called to do more -- to shine before others, to add some good to this world, and to bring the light of Good News. How can we do that? Not just by our words, but by our good example of living. So, if others experience your goodness, forgiveness, and love, they will know how wonderful your God is.
