Tuesday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time ‘c’

The Kingdom of God is the spiritual realm over which God reigns as king, and it is the fulfillment on Earth of God’s will. However, living in this world, we may have some doubts about this. We may have doubts about God’s reign when we witness so much evil happening each day, or when we see how many Christians turn away from the church and from religion. Most of us would say that this world is getting worse, not better So, where is God? God does exist and patiently waits. He is greater than anything of this world; He is more than all the universe, and He is much stronger than any kind of evil. And even if we don’t see this today, God’s Kingdom is growing, and one day His Kingdom will overcome everything else. We just need to believe in the words of our Lord, who said: “What is the Kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.”
