Tuesday of the Thirty- Second Week in Ordinary time ‘c’
Jesus invites us to His heavenly table, but before we can take our place at the table with Him, we need to fulfill the mission that was entrusted to us here in this life. What is that mission? It is basically ‘service’, service to God and to His people. So, while we are here on this earth, we cannot forget about our duties. Only after being faithful servants of God, can we join Jesus in His Kingdom. Hopefully one day the Lord will tell us: “So, should it be with you. When you have done all you have been commanded, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we were obliged to do.”
